All Indic locales supported by Fedora or RHEL can benefit from this check. 


For instance,
Tarball attached in Comment 1 of this bug, works for Marathi [mr] locale and
can be tweaked for Hindi [hi] locale too. Marathi and Hindi language are based
on Devanagari script.
