Bug ID: 954224
Summary: [RFE] Allow validators to run after input of a
translation
Product: Zanata
Version: unspecified
Component: Usability
Severity: unspecified
Priority: unspecified
Assignee: irooskov at redhat.com
Reporter: damason at redhat.com
QA Contact: dchen at redhat.com
CC: zanata-bugs at redhat.com
Category: ---
Description of problem:
Translators may wish to disable a validator if it causes excessive warnings
during input (when using an input method editor). Disabling validators could
lead to validation errors, but there is currently no other way to prevent the
excessive validation warnings.
Actual results:
User can turn validations on or off.
Expected results:
For each validation, user can choose for it to run:
- constantly
- at the end of string input
- not at all
For enforced validations, the last option would not be available. If running
validations upon save, a dialog could show on validation failure so that the
user can correct the issue before saving.
Additional info:
An option to run all active validations with a key shortcut would be a useful
addition if some validations can be deferred until the end of a translation has
been entered.
