Description of problem:
Zanata is unable to handle significantly large projects (thousands of source
documents), particularly in stats calculations.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
dev

How reproducible:
Moderate always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find/create a project version with 10000+ source documents
2. Visit that project version and, while it's updating the stats, go to:
 -> Settings -> Documents
    - Note the long period it takes to show the Overall values
3. Click the "+", and select a text file. Click Upload.

Actual results:
Cache update begins, high level performance impact

Expected results:
Stats calculation should not become a blocking process.
