We’re gearing up for Red Hat Summit’s 13th year, bringing together customers, partners and community enthusiasts. The summit opens May 1 for full-day training classes and the conference runs May 2-4, featuring presentations, networking sessions, training and certification opportunities, hands-on labs led by subject matter experts, and a partner pavilion.
The summit is held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and there will be shuttle buses running from the various partner hotels for the event. Keynote speakers include Red Hat’s Jim Whitehurst and Paul Cormier, and executives from Dell EMC, Ericsson, Google, Intel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Lenovo and Microsoft. It’s not all work: we’re hosting a 5K run, a Red Sox party at Fenway Park, a cocktail party and more.
As for telco, we’ll be hosting a number of focused sessions on topics like network functions virtualization (NFV), security automation, storage and containers with partners like EBU, Bell Canada, Sprint and Verizon. Be sure to catch the keynotes from Ericsson and HPE, as well as the solution demos. There’s also a birds-of-a-feather session that will give everyone a chance to meet up and discuss telco trends, technologies and challenges in the age of digital transformation. You’ll have lots of opportunity to converse with and pose questions to Red Hat business leaders, partners, and technical architects.
In the coming weeks leading up to the summit, the Red Hat Vertical Industries Telco Blog will be sharing more details about the upcoming telco sessions and events, so stay tuned. And we hope you’ll join us at the summit!
