Join Us: Learn how telcos are modernizing storage to meet workload demands

Storage has always been an important focus for telecommunications companies, and it’s no different today. Distributed data, virtualization and cloud are all putting new demands on storage. To dig deeper into these topics, Red Hat is hosting a full-day event at New York’s Eventi Hotel on October 20 to discuss the latest trends and best practices for building distributed storage systems using Ceph and Gluster.

The event will focus on three key Red Hat Storage workloads: Object storage for managing vast collections of distributed data; OpenStack for powering virtual machines and their applications; and containers for enabling the convergence of applications and storage. Samsung will be featured in a session on non-volatile memory express (NVME) Ceph reference architecture for high performance workloads. And we’re looking forward to highlighting a telco customer in one of our afternoon sessions.

Also in the afternoon, our partner Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT) will talk about using Ceph to decouple storage from compute in Apache Hadoop.
