Nominations open for 2017 Red Hat Innovation Awards

With Red Hat Summit fast approaching, it’s time to submit nominations for the 2017 Red Hat Innovation Awards, which close November 9!

Since 2007, the Red Hat Innovation Awards have given us the opportunity to recognize our partners and customers for their innovative and creative use of Red Hat technologies to transform their businesses, solve complex challenges and meet customer needs.

As an example, telecommunications and IT provider CBTS was honored in the “modernize” category last year for using Red Hat CloudForms to automate and streamline customer support processes and standardize managed service offerings. You can read more about the impressive results CBTS achieved, including a 65 percent increase in efficiency, speeding up time-to-market by 200 percent, and accelerating their sales cycles by 100 percent in this case study.

This year, organizations can submit nominations in the following five categories:

  • Enterprise transformation
  • DevOps implementation
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Application optimization
  • The open source way

Red Hat Innovation Award winners will be selected by a panel of industry-expert judges for each category based on the uniqueness, complexity and magnitude of their Red Hat implementations. From those winners, the 2017 Red Hat Innovator of the Year will be selected by the community through online voting, and will be announced during an awards ceremony at the 2017 Red Hat Summit in Boston this May.

Nominations close on November 9, so tell us about your transformative projects and the outstanding results you’ve achieved today!
