We are delighted to announce that Red Hat has been recognized as the 5th best employer in the Czech Republic by the Czech Association of Students and Graduates. Red Hat not only ranked fifth among ICT companies but was also praised as “breakthrough of the year” highlighting Red Hat’s increase in ranking year-over-year.

The result derives from an anonymous survey of 10,360 students and graduates from Czech universities. Based on the top 65 employers, the survey gauged respondents’ preferences around company culture as well as their views on how companies should attract students. Red Hat has long-standing collaborations with many of the local universities in the area and is committed to continuing its work to enrich the ties between the corporate sphere and educational institutions.

We pride ourselves on our unique culture and work environment, where good ideas can come from anywhere and the best ideas win. Associates work together in a challenging and engaging community, where they are encouraged to contribute to the company’s core mission.

Red Hat has approximately 8,300 associates worldwide, with more than 80 offices in more than 35 countries. The Brno office hosts one of the company’s largest teams of engineers and is a driving force in the development of Red Hat’s open source technologies. In August 2014, Red Hat opened a third building in Brno.
