As our global partner ecosystem continues to expand and as the partners themselves play an increasing role in selling Red Hat subscriptions, partner proficiency for the full portfolio of our offerings must follow suit. Thousands of partner technical resources take Red Hat Training classes each year and our partner programs require partners to maintain designated numbers of Red Hat certified professionals on staff so the partner can adequately meet the needs of its Red Hat customers. While the technical certifications help partner delivery teams successfully install Red Hat products, there have been knowledge gaps for partner technical sales. In order to fill those gaps, the Red Hat Global Partner Strategy and Enablement team decided to enhance support for all global partners and partner team members by creating a series of self-paced learning modules designed to optimize and accelerate partner capabilities spanning from sales through delivery.

With nearly 30 self-paced training modules already created and many more on the way, the modules have been broken down into three tracks: sales, technical sales and consulting delivery. They range in duration from 20 to 90 minutes and allow partner resources to focus exclusively on what they need to learn to attain required levels of proficiency. This will allow our partners across the world to become smarter faster and more efficient. Available free of charge, anytime from anywhere, partner sales reps, technical sales and delivery engineers will now have tools at their finger tips to better understand and communicate the full Red Hat portfolio, assess customers’ environments and deliver Red Hat-related service engagements.

We’re very excited to bring these comprehensive training modules to thousands of Red Hat partners across the globe free of charge, created by Red Hat experts and available on-demand. These new modules will help our partners have the knowledge necessary to be more successful.  It will also optimize the success that their customers derive from Red Hat technologies.
