We’re excited to share that Julia White, corporate vice president at Microsoft, will be joining us for a dynamic discussion with DeLisa Alexander, executive vice president and chief people officer at Red Hat, at the 8th annual Red Hat Women’s Leadership Community Luncheon, co-sponsored by Microsoft.

Taking place Thursday, May 4, during Red Hat Summit 2017 in Boston, the luncheon provides a great opportunity to network with other women in tech, share stories of inspiration, and hear the inspiring stories of others.

White has been a fixture at Microsoft for more than 15 years, and was ahead of the curve working in commercial software and cloud services long before much of the industry turned its focus to cloud. Now focused on the Microsoft Cloud with special attention on Azure, enterprise security, and IT management, White is an advocate and inspiration for women and girls, no matter the industry.

Alexander joined Red Hat in 2001, and has led the People team since 2006. She is a catalyst for diversity and inclusion at Red Hat, in open source, and in the broader technology industry. Founder of Red Hat’s Women’s Leadership Community, Alexander works to connect women, build their networks, and grow their opportunities.

During the discussion, White and Alexander will share thoughts on a career in tech, and how we can build a diverse and inclusive environment, where all are empowered to achieve their full potential.

In collaboration with Microsoft, a company that shares our passion for bringing more diversity into technology, we invite all Red Hat Summit 2017 attendees to join us for this event and learn how they can get involved in engaging more women in open source.
