We're pleased to announce that several Red Hatters, including executive vice president and chief people officer, DeLisa Alexander, will speak at the All Things Open conference in Raleigh, N.C., October 22nd and 23rd. Co-sponsored by Red Hat, All Things Open will bring together top executives to discuss open source and the open web in the enterprise.

DeLisa will moderate a panel on women in technology and open source, addressing the underrepresentation of women in technology and open source, steps to increase diversity in the technology industry. The panel will take place October 23 at 9:40 a.m. ET.

DeLisa's background makes her an ideal choice to head this discussion. Throughout her career, she has been committed to promoting women's involvement in technology, and serves on the advisory board of the Connected Women of North Carolina. At Red Hat, she is instrumental in shaping the company's culture through her work in leading the organization's global human resources efforts. DeLisa also spearheads Red Hat University, which is designed to acquire, develop, and retain Red Hat talent.
