Don't miss our fantastic line up for Monday ending with the Red Hat Technology Vision keynote by Craig Muzilla who'll take us through where are we today and what we can expect in the future. We're also excited to welcome an excellent and very inspiring motivational speaker, Alastair Humphreys. From 18.40 onwards we'll be hosting our Open IoT & Biz night including the IoT hacking night as well as inviting you to meet our experts and enjoy some delicious food at the same time.

Ashesh Badani

Ashesh Badani
Vice President, OpenShift, Red Hat

Ashesh Badani is responsible for the OpenShift PaaS business and overall Cloud Business Unit. Previously, he oversaw product line management and marketing for the Red Hat JBoss middleware portfolio. Prior to joining Red Hat, Badani served as director of product management and product marketing of integration and application platform products at Sun Microsystems. With 15 years of experience in the technology and finance industries, Badani holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University.

Paul Cormier

Paul Cormier
Executive Vice President and President, Products and Technologies, Red Hat

Paul Cormier leads Red Hat's technology and products organizations, including engineering, product management, and product marketing for Red Hat's technologies. He joined Red Hat in May 2001 as executive vice president, Engineering.

Cormier's leadership and experience in enterprise technology has led to the introduction of Red Hat's acclaimed line of enterprise products, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux®. He has been instrumental in forging tight partnerships with many leading technology companies.

Before Red Hat, Cormier served as senior vice president of research and development at BindView, helping the company achieve market leadership in 2000.

Margaret Dawson

Margaret Dawson
Director of Global Product Marketing, Platform & Solution Marketing, Infrastructure, Red Hat

A 20-year tech industry veteran, Margaret is a frequent author and speaker on cloud computing, big data, open source, women in tech, and the intersection of business and technology. Currently, Margaret leads global product marketing at Red Hat, the world's leading open source software company.

Prior to Red Hat, she was Vice President of Product Marketing and Cloud Evangelist for the cloud computing division of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Margaret has worked and traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, and North America. She was a foreign correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine, and spent ten years in the Greater China region, consulting with many technology companies and governmental agencies.

Petra Heinrich

Petra Heinrich
Vice President Partners & Alliances EMEA, Red Hat

Petra Heinrich joined Red Hat in January 2007 and is responsible for the development and execution of Red Hat's partner strategy and sales across EMEA. This includes the indirect go-to-market strategy and execution with distributors, solution providers, system integrators, OEMs, ISVs, CCSP's (Certified Cloud Solution Provider) and associated programs. With over 20 years experience in partner management and business development, Petra Heinrich is a champion for open source collaboration to deliver innovative solutions for today's business challenges leveraging Red Hat's business partner network and global alliances. Previous stations in her career included Lotus, IBM, Suse and Novell.

Gunnar Hellekson

Gunnar Hellekson
Director of Product Management, Linux and Virtualization, Red Hat

Gunnar Hellekson is the Director of Product Management for Red Hat's Linux, Virtualization, and Atomic container product lines. Before that, he was Chief Strategist for Red Hat's US Public Sector group. He is a founder of Open Source for America, one of Federal Computer Week's Fed 100 for 2010,and was voted one of the FedScoop 50 for industry leadership. He was a founder of the Military Open Source working group, a member of the SIIA Software Division Board, the Board of Directors for the Public Sector Innovation Group, the Open Technology Fund Advisory Council, New America's California Civic Innovation Project Advisory Council, and the CivicCommons Board of Advisors. He perks up when people talk about commoditization and the industrial mobilization of World War II.

Michel Isnard

Michel Isnard
Vice President EMEA, Red Hat

Michel Isnard is responsible for leading the regional management team and managing the relationship with Red Hat customers and partners, as well as promoting Red Hat's innovative value-proposition to answer the challenge of Digital Transformation that all Enterprises are facing together with a focus on shifting enterprise computing from proprietary to open source technology solutions across the entire region.

Werner Knoblich

Senior Vice President and General Manager EMEA, Red Hat

Werner Knoblich is responsible for developing and executing Red Hat’s business strategy across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). His primary focus is on sales, marketing, and services. Since joining Red Hat in 2003, Werner has led the EMEA region to consistently exceed financial targets and deliver innovative solutions to overcome customer business challenges in both established and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Werner spent more than 6 years working in the IT asset management sector for MainControl and MRO in the United States. Werner began his sales career working for USU Softwarehaus in Germany.

Franz Meyer

Vice President, Strategic Business Development, EMEA, Red Hat

Franz Meyer joined Red Hat in 2001 and is based in the Paris office. For the first 12 years of his career at Red Hat, Franz held responsibility for the development of Red Hat's business opportunities in Western and Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He now leads a strategic initiative to accelerate new business opportunities and the adoption of new products in Red Hat's portfolio (Middleware, Virtualization & Cloud, Storage) across the EMEA region.

Craig Muzilla

Craig Muzilla
Senior Vice President, Application Platforms Business, Red Hat

Craig Muzilla is responsible for Red Hat's application platform, middleware, and Platform-as-a- Service (PaaS) businesses. He leads the OpenShift and Red Hat JBoss Middleware businesses and is also responsible for Red Hat's overall developer programs across Red Hat's product lines. Muzilla is leading Red Hat's efforts in cloud computing for application development through its PaaS offering, OpenShift, and middleware services for PaaS.

Prior to his current position, Muzilla was vice president and general manager of the Red Hat JBoss Middleware business, which he helped grow to 12 products in five different market segments. He helped establish the strategy for Red Hat's middleware portfolio and helped Red Hat expand beyond Linux to other infrastructure market segments. He also executed several acquisitions to grow the business and to add broader capabilities to Red Hat's product lines.

Prior to Red Hat, Muzilla held senior positions with many emerging and established infrastructure and middleware software businesses. He was senior vice president, Marketing and Business Development at MetaMatrix when it was acquired by Red Hat. He is on the Board of Directors of ownCloud, Inc.

Arun Oberoi

Arun Oberoi
Executive vice president, Global Sales and Services, Red Hat

Arun Oberoi leads Red Hat's Global Sales and Services organization, including Red Hat's commercial and public sector sales, channel, and alliance sales, as well as Red Hat's consulting services. He joined Red Hat in May 2012. Before joining Red Hat, Oberoi led and repeatedly built rapidly scaling businesses for multiple technology organizations, from start-up companies to midsized and multibillion-dollar global organizations.

Mike Piech

Mike Piech
Vice President and General Manager, Middleware, Red Hat

Mike Piech is vice president and general manager of Middleware at Red Hat, where he is responsible for leading the product marketing, program marketing and product management teams responsible for the JBoss section of enterprise middleware products.

Prior to Red Hat, Mike was vice president of product marketing at Magnet Systems, where he developed Magnet's platform messaging and open source strategy. Before Magnet, Mike was vice president of product management and marketing at Engine Yard, following five years at Oracle and BEA with product responsibility for Java, WebLogic, Exalogic, GlassFish, Coherence, Tuxedo, and developer tools. Before BEA Mike ran product management at Dorado (acquired by First American CoreLogic), a SaaS solution for mortgage banking. Mike began his career at Sun Microsystems in engineering roles in areas ranging from MPEG video coding to development tools before moving to product marketing for Enterprise Java.

Hans Roth joined Red Hat in 2016 and is based in Munich. He is leading Red Hat's services business across EMEA. Red Hat Services is supporting Red Hat's customers with consulting, training and certification to succeed with Red Hat technology.

Prior to Red Hat, Hans was Vice President Service Delivery unit for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise for Central Europe. He was holding several positions within the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services EMEA Management Team before. Hans is a leader for Business Process Management, IT Strategy, System Integration and Strategic Outsourcing for many years. He has managed large, complex and multinational team during his 20+ years in the IT industry.
