Robert Hall

Robert Hall

Senior Alliance Manager - Microsoft EMEA, Red Hat

BIO - "Passionate About the Value of Open!"
During my career at Red Hat I have had the privilege to learn about the value that Opensource brings not only to our customers but also as an employee of an open organisation and the benefits that brings to employees who are encouraged to have a voice and be considered as part of the community we serve. Combining this knowledge with Microsoft's hybrid Cloud strategy and the investments made over many years has created an environment for me to develop a strong and lasting partnership with Microsoft EMEA, to develop our joint offerings and ultimately give our customers choice of how they choose to consume their IT in a flexible & secure way. Unlike many other technology providers, it's our customers who hold us accountable for the products and services we deliver, particularly with the flexibility our partnership brings to the table with Microsoft. It's a very powerful message and provides our customers today with the confidence to invest in the knowledge that they are calling the shots - with no vendor lock in. My career has focused on delivering customer success & incremental revenues through strategic alliances and channel partners within the enterprise software and hardware industry. Having spent more than 30 years in the industry I have gained expertise in all aspects of alliances and channel business from definition of partner strategy through to effective execution. Specialties include: Strategic alliance management, channel strategy, channel development, channel programs, alliance and channel marketing.
