What is Red Hat Forum 2020 Virtual Experience?
Red Hat Forums are immersive one day events that bring the latest and greatest in open source cloud computing, platform, virtualization, middleware, storage, and systems management technologies to your region.
To protect the health and safety of our customers, partners, community members, and associates, Red Hat’s 2020 Forum events are moving to a region-specific virtual experience offering unique and inspiring content to help you along your open source journey.
When will the new virtual experience take place?
Red Hat Forum 2020 Virtual Experience will take place on Tuesday, 3rd of November 2020 from 9:00 CET to 16:30 CET. Keynotes begin at 9:30 CET. Recorded content will be available for up to one year after the Virtual Experience.
What timezone will the event be delivered in?
The live event will be delivered in the Central European Time (CET) timezone. To reflect the event agenda in your timezone, please go to the tab ‘profile’ within the event platform and select your timezone.
The sessions will be available on demand from the day after the live event for a year.
What languages will the event be available in?
Keynotes and partner sessions will be in English, while some of the regional tracks are held in their local languages. You can identify the language for each regional session from the abbreviation in brackets before the title.
English subtitles will be available on-demand for selection sessions. General Session keynotes will be available on-demand in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
What is the cost to join Red Hat EMEA Forum - Virtual Experience 2020?
Red Hat EMEA Forum - Virtual Experience 2020 is a free event, but you will need to register to access the event platform and content.
How do I access the on-demand portions of the virtual experience?
Once you have registered for the experience, you can sign in and view the recorded content at your own pace, from anywhere. These will all be available the day after the live event. On-demand portions of the virtual event will be available for one year for those who register.
When and where will Red Hat Forum be in 2021?
We are monitoring and evaluating the progress of the pandemic. It is a highly evolving situation and we will provide this information as soon as possible.
Networking with other attendees is a big reason I attend, how are you going to offer that benefit virtually?
We have created multiple ways to interact, chat and network during the event. You can engage and interact with customers and partners through their individual booths, converse with speakers during their session, schedule and executive briefing within the Red Hat Booth, and more!

How do I register for Red Hat EMEA Forum - Virtual Experience 2020?
You will find the event registration form on the event website.
I have issues logging in to the event website. What should I do?
The event environment will go live on 3rd of November 2020 at 09:00 AM CET. Users will not have access prior to this.
If you are already registered but forgot your password, please proceed to reset your password. It can take up to 30 minutes to receive a new password in your inbox.

What kind of software will be required to view keynotes and interact with the experts?
It will be web-based, so all you will need is a computer and an internet connection. Click here for the requirements for desktop browser and operating systems.
Can I attend multiple country tracks?
Yes, there will be lots of interesting content being delivered across all of the tracks, free for anyone to attend.
How do I access the on-demand portions of the virtual experience?

Can I still get Red Hat Forum 2020 swag?
We recognize that swag is something that our Red Hat Forum attendees value.
Unfortunately we cannot offer a goodie for every attendee this year and ordering swag within the Red Hat booth is currently for US only.
During the live event on 3rd of November 2020, attendees can participate in games within the event environment and win Red Hat prizes. Test your Red Hat knowledge with the trivia game, collect achievement badges and play bingo with us! More information and terms and conditions can be found once you login to the event platform.
How long can I participate in games to win a prize?
The games will be available during the live event on 3rd of November 2020 from 9:00 am CET to 16:30 CET.
Winners will be notified on or about Friday, November 6th, 2020 by an email sent to the email address specified on the entry form.

How many badges can I collect and how can I keep track of them?
Details for badges, rules and T&Cs are displayed in the "Games" section under "Badges and Prizes".
As a badge is earned you will receive a small pop up notification. The status of all earnings can be checked anytime by going to your profile and looking at achievements.
What are the games and prizes?
There are three ways to win a Red Hat Swag Kit with a varietal of branded items - they all involve a fun game: trivia game, bingo, collect achievement badges.
Kits include a Red Hat lightened multicable, a Red Hat mug, Red Hat stickers, a Red Hat organizer bag, a rare promotional hat from Red Hat as well as a few more Red Hat gadgets. Check out the Badges + Prizes drop down to learn more inside the event.
How do I know if I won a prize?
After the final drawing on Friday, November 6th, winners will receive and email individually to reconfirm their details and eligibility to redeem a prize.

We will reach out to you to reconfirm your details and will inform you about the next steps.
NOTE: Allow up to two weeks for delivery after the 6th. Thank you in advance for your understanding that Covid-19 might affect and delay shipping logistics.

Sessions submission for Red Hat EMEA Forum 2020 is closed.

All previous sponsors of EMEA Forums 2019 will have their logo and website link featured within the virtual environment.
There will not be additional paid sponsorship opportunities offered within the virtual experience.
