Santalucía transforms insurance services with Red Hat Training

Santalucía Seguros is a provider of products for Spain’s insurance market. It is the largest and oldest company in The Santalucía Group of financial service specialists. Based in Madrid, the business originated in 1922.


To remain competitive in the fast-paced, digital-focused financial services industry, Santalucía sought to enhance its business model with easy-to-use online tools and a comprehensive view of its customers. To achieve this, they needed to create a new application programing interface (API)-centric IT architecture quickly that would integrate different internal and third-party applications and support faster development and deployment through improved resource access.


Santalucía decided to replace its legacy solution with a new IT architecture based on Red Hat Fuse and other Red Hat software and services. To gain the experience and knowledge needed to operate and manage its new Red Hat software environment successfully, Santalucía Seguros engaged Red Hat Training to work with its in-house development teams.
