During Red Hat Summit 2015, we introduced a new offering to bring customers actionable insights sourced from our award-winning customer support organization. Red Hat Insights connects customers to our rich knowledge database and deep expertise gained from supporting hundreds of thousands of enterprise customers for 15+ years. That deep knowledge helps power something we refer to as the Insights engine.
Offered as a SaaS model, Red Hat Insights delivers customers a unique collection of analytics on their infrastructure so they can quickly and proactively manage technical risk before they impact operations. By combining granular risk assessment and per-server tailored remediation steps, Red Hat Insights keeps IT out of firefighting and focused on running their businesses.
When we introduced Red Hat Insights in June, it was available as an Early Access Program through the Red Hat Customer Portal. Today, we are announcing general availability of Red Hat Insights as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, giving users proactive feedback on their system deployments in a solution that can be turned on in minutes, with anytime, anywhere availability and painless upgrades. To get started with Red Hat Insights, all customers need to do is visit https://access.redhat.com/insights.
We’ve made numerous enhancements to Red Hat Insights, adding functionality and more tailored solutions for customers, including:
Integration into Red Hat Satellite, as well as Tech Preview integration into Red Hat CloudForms.
Red Hat Insights engine now analyzes new data in a real-time manner, enabling immediate analysis for new or updated systems.
Recommendations provided by Insights now have more granular severity assessments so that even within the same class of technical risk, the most immediate scenarios are highlighted.
Expanded coverage of hardware and software vendors, especially for mission critical high performance networking and storage devices.
These updates to Red Hat Insights are available now for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure customers. We encourage customers to experience these new updates to see how they can modernize their system efficiency and proactive analysis.
