As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, these rankings are further indication that open source is a powerful force that can change the world. Since our inception, we’ve shown how defaulting to open can unlock potential and have established a leadership position in the world of open-sourced, community-driven innovation.

On the show, DeLisa shared her perspectives as an HR leader in a large, growing, technical company, and the major challenges and opportunities facing HR leaders today, and some of the ways DeLisa and her team at Red Hat are approaching these challenges.

"We had a really great year last year, which creates tough comps. We said what we would do, we delivered that, we reaffirmed guidance for the year other than pulling down for currency, but I think there was a sense that we were going to really blow it out and, frankly, we just delivered what we said we'd deliver."

"What we did with Red Hat was really look at different sources of data to get a really good understanding of what was happening on the ground, and where we should be focusing our very limited resources," explains Erica Kochi, co-founder of UNICEF's Innovation unit.
