Red Hat awarded Best Cloud Computing Provider at the V3 Technology Awards 2014

Red Hat was recently recognised as "Best Cloud Computing Provider" at the V3 Technology Awards 2014 at a ceremony in London, where we sat among our industry peers, partners and competitors. It was a thrilling moment, made more meaningful knowing that the award came to Red Hat through the support of the voting public. Red Hat is progressing open source as the foundation for building an innovative cloud solution that supports large organisations with diverse IT strategies and existing infrastructures.

Red Hat’s open, hybrid cloud offerings are developed around the needs of large scale organisations, with multi-year support and highly skilled professional services, helping customers return on ttheir existing IT investments. We pursue the open approach because it offers a full stack of technologies designed to work together, giving customers the freedom to combine them with their choice of third party components.

It is wonderful that our efforts in pursuing this model have been recognised, and further indication that 2014 has been an incredible year for Red Hat, with the company also shortlisted in the Product of the Year, Best Virtualisation Product and the Customer Project of the Year categories.
