At Red Hat, we strive to provide our associates with a great work environment, and our partners and customers with the best possible open source software solutions to meet their needs. Today, we’re pleased to share that work has been recognized with several awards.
Red Hat wins Triangle Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” award
For the sixth time, we were recognized as one of Triangle Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in the Triangle, N.C. region for 2016. Red Hat was ranked as the #1 best place to work in the Triangle in the giant company category (1,000+ associates). The awards recognize companies that foster fun, challenging, and rewarding workplaces, and are compiled based on employee surveys centered on team effectiveness, coworker trust, alignment with goals, and manager effectiveness.
The accomplishment is particularly rewarding because it is based on the feelings of our most valuable asset: Red Hat associates. We strive to create a workplace environment that is inclusive, open, and encourages teamwork and ideas – the essence of open source.
HOW honors Red Hat with in-house design award
HOW, which covers the design industry, has selected Red Hat as an Outstanding Achievement winner in the publication’s 2016 HOW In-House Design Awards. The awards “recognize the best creative work produced by designers doing in-house work for corporations, associations, and organizations.” We were honored for our video about how audio equipment leader and rock ‘n’ roll legend, Peavey Electronics, is using Red Hat solutions to advance its innovation and improve analytics and reporting with open source.
Red Hat’s Amanda Russell Selected for DMN 40 Under 40
Finally, we’re happy to share that Amanda Russell, a director of Global Partner Marketing for Cloud at Red Hat, has been selected for the 2016 DMN 40 Under 40 list. The DMN 40 Under 40 awards honor marketers who have displayed exceptional marketing achievements. Amanda was honored for her collaboration with our cloud partners and specific marketing programs highlighting Red Hat’s strong cloud ecosystem.
