PaaS can help you go digital
A recent report by Bain & Company and Red Hat shows “companies that have made the most strides in digital outperform their rivals.” (More on the survey later.) By shifting their technologies and cultures, digital businesses are more responsive, flexible, and innovative.
To go digital, your business needs to adopt new cloud-native applications and services and an iterative DevOps approach—which requires strong support for developers and operations teams. Both groups make digital transformation possible, but they have different, often conflicting needs. By integrating and simplifying the use of open source projects like Kubernetes, Docker-format containers, and Linux®, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) decouples developers and ops, letting each do what they’re good at without holding the other back.
