In a recent Red Hat customer survey, skillset or talent gaps were once again ranked as top factors preventing digital transformation. Whether you are newly adopting Red Hat or need to upskill on a specific product, investing in skills is a critical component of moving your organization forward.
Every organization and person has individual and differentiated needs when it comes to the choice of training format. Self-paced training is our fastest growing delivery format, and traditional in-class training remains hugely popular, but another option which has been very popular, especially in today's world of travel restrictions, is a combination of the two: virtual training, or VT.
Instructor-led, real-time training in an virtual environment
Red Hat virtual training is real-time training conducted by live Red Hat-certified instructors in an interactive, virtual environment, giving you the same industry-respected content and hands-on labs as the corresponding classroom-based courses, including virtual lab machines that run actual products.
Most classes even offer 5 and half hour increments over a 3- to 5-day period to more flexibly fit in your schedule with partial work days.
The virtual classroom experience
The virtual training classroom is designed for you to interact with both the instructor and students through chat, audio, and video options. You can ask questions in a group setting or talk one on one with the instructor. In live session you will follow along in the course, watch your instructor demonstrate labs, and perform guided exercises with your instructor on hand to answer questions. This classroom style also enables teams to train together globally in a virtual environment from different locations and individuals to interact with global learners to get a different perspective.
Conference call options are available for all virtual classrooms and you can choose to connect through your phone or computer to clearly hear everything being shared and also ask and receive answers to your questions.
Sessions will also have a dedicated support team to help you make the most out of your experience and troubleshoot any support issues you may have before or during your session. Test your connection to the environment to ensure that your system meets screen resolution, connectivity, and browser requirements.
What our customers have said about their virtual training
“The trainer really animates a VT. I was impressed by the quality of the course and the way he gave it. To be sure that we were still alive behind our computers, he did ready checks, questions, and so on ... all that together made a great experience from my side.
“The trainer has an excellent level of expertise. This course was the good moment to arrive with questions to ask to understand better Openshift.”
“The instructor showed exceptional experience in the subject answering all questions not only limiting his knowledge to the book.”
“The knowledge, experience and way of teaching of the instructor is awesome. Definitely the best Linux training I've received ever.”
