We’re down to our last few events before closing out what has been a very busy 2008. Red Hat has attended hundreds of events this year and we’re looking forward to an action-packed 2009.

Red Hat’s Andy Cathrow, product marketing manager, will participate in a panel discussion entitled "Open Source and Two Shades of Green" at the Go Green Computing Seminar on December 2, 2008 in Washington, D.C. The panel will cover how open source enables greener government operations along with best practices for embedding open source into a green computing strategy. In addition, Lynne Corddry, vice president of business development for Red Hat’s public sector will moderate the panel "How Green Are Your Operations?" which will include a discussion on which technologies are most effective in implementing initiatives that have environmental benefits and how government agencies are taking steps to reduce their carbon footprints.

Swing by the JBoss booth at Gartner’s Application Architecture, Development and Integration Summit on December 8-10 in Las Vegas. We’re a silver sponsor of this year’s event which focuses on service-oriented architecture.
