Monica Sasso

EMEA FSI Chief Technologist, Red Hat

Panel Title: Regtech Unleashed: Capitalising on Making Regulatory Compliance Easier, Faster and More Cost Effective

When: October 19 | 14:30

Location: Dubai World Trade Centre | Zabeel Hall 4

Abstract: Coming soon

Ayhem Alzaaim

CEMEA Telco Sales Director, Red Hat

Panel Title: Cloud X Open Ran = Greater than the Sum of its Parts?

When: October 19 | 15:15

Location: Dubai World Trade Centre | Hall 3

Abstract: The appeal of Open RAN is about disaggregating hardware and software for open interfaces to offer more market competition resulting in more choice, lower costs and improved network performance. But the ongoing debate is far from settled. Tradeoffs between open standards with greater compatibility and a closed and controlled ecosystem with barriers to entry is never a clear-cut case. Where do we stand in the MENA region when it comes to and what is the operator appetite for disaggregated and interoperable networks? What is the potential cost savings versus operational risks such as system integration, security and inadvertent bottlenecks.

Atif Chaughtai

Global Healthcare Market Leader,, Red Hat

Panel Title: We are better when we work together: Tackling the Big Data & Interoperability Challenge

When: October 18 | 12:10

Location: Dubai World Trade Centre

Abstract: This session explores how the healthcare ecosystem needs to come together to push Big Data & interoperability forward & how technology can be a game-changer.

Monica Sasso

EMEA FSI Chief Technologist, Red Hat

Panel Title: Decentralized Security: Fending off Threats at the New Cyber Frontier

When: October 20 | 15:00

Location: Dubai World Trade Centre

Abstract: A natural result of open banking, automation and harmonized legislation across jurisdictions is  a greater global interdependence. While offering significant efficiency gains it also poses the threat of introducing new and increased systemic risks from data governance to operations. This  session looks at assigning the roles and accountability between government regulators, banks and  Fintechs to maintain system integrity and security.
