Log outBusiness rules engines have been around for several decades now, and do important work at many organizations. The idea that individuals could encode business policies in the form of rules that could then be used to automate business decisions was revolutionary at the time, and has led to much greater efficiency and consistency in business operations. But as we look forward to a more digital future, new technologies such as artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), robotic process automation (RPA), and the cloud are once again changing the way we approach business automation, and redefining what's possible to automate.
In this webinar, Red Hat's Phil Simpson will review some of these critical changes, and how they will impact the roles of developers and business people as we build the next generation of applications.
