Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 Image Builder

Watch recording from October 16, 2019

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Image Builder is a tool for creating deployment-ready, customized system images: installation disks, virtual machines, cloud vendor-specific images, and others. Image Builder lets you create these images faster compared to manual procedures because it abstracts away the specifics of each output type. Learn how to set up Image Builder and create images with it. You can use Image Builder to create customized system images of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including system images prepared for deployment on cloud platforms.

In this session we will install Image Builder on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

We'll cover:

  • How to install Image Builder.
  • Blueprints creation and customization.
  • Composer-cli tool and graphical user interface in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 web console overview.
