William manages the Red Hat Satellite Community of Practice and holds Red Hat Certified Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Security+ certifications. His specialties include automation, security, systems management, and platform fundamentals. William is a road warrior, analyzing customer challenges and building robust solutions. Some clients have also engaged him as a security expert, performing forensic, recovery, and remediation duties.
During his career spanning more than 2 decades, William has administered *nix systems for the United States Federal Government, state and local governments, public utilities, finance, startups, and more. He is a proud member of "Blue Team" as he feels defending is more challenging and more interesting than attacking.
