Recent Red Hat® Satellite releases have introduced many beneficial changes and new functionalities, including Global Registration Templates and the ability to force cancellation of sync tasks. This webinar covers what you need to know about Red Hat Satellite versions 6.8, 6.9, and 6.10 before upgrading. The presentation will highlight new features and how you can take advantage of the improved upgrade experience and increased performance. For example, Red Hat Satellite 6.9 uses the Puma rather than the Passenger web server, which helps improve the product’s performance but may require a tuning change. And before upgrading to Red Hat Satellite 6.10, customers need to premigrate their Pulp 2 data to Pulp 3 to prevent a long upgrade process.

In this webinar, we'll cover new features and changes in Red Hat Satellite, including:

  • Usability and architectural enhancements.
  • Components and tooling that have been deprecated or removed.
  • Updated and new functionalities.
  • What you need to know before upgrading.
