Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Red Hat in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. In this role, he is responsible for expanding business throughout these regions.

Van Leeuwen, who is based in Singapore, has a deep understanding of the enterprise software market and channels in both APAC and Europe. Since joining Red Hat in 2004, he has helped establish operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg (Benelux), Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and central and eastern Europe. Under his leadership since 2009, Red Hat APAC revenue in particular has increased more than fivefold. With more than 25 years of IT industry experience, van Leeuwen has a proven record helping companies throughout these regions succeed using technology and innovation.

She has played a significant role in automating and accelerating business processes leveraging various digital technologies in a strategic and prioritised way to optimise digital experiences and deliver digital services. Ada holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, IT management, solution architecture, system integration and application development.

Amol Pai is the Chief Technology Officer at the State Bank of India (SBI) since October 2019 and is based in Mumbai. His current portfolio includes managing the IT infrastructure of the Bank and the YONO application. Prior to SBI, Amol worked with Yes Bank as Group President & Head - Digital Banking Technology, Treasury Technology, Testing Center of Excellence and AI – NLP. He started his banking career with ICICI Bank and was an Assistant General Manager there from 2008 - 2013.

Amol has a Masters degree in Financial Management, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a Post Graduate Diploma in Software technology and an engineering degree in Bio-medical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Burak Hoban is a Principal Platform Architect within the SI Data Engineering team at IAG. Having originally joined IAG as part of a graduate intake a number of years ago, Burak has had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of differing fields ranging from mainframe, midrange, Linux, public and private cloud and finally into architecture.

Prashant joined IBM in 2001 as a Research Scientist at IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, after completing his PhD in Computer Science from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1996.

In 2007 Prashant accepted an international assignment to IBM India-South Asia to lead strategic deals in the region, ultimately moving to the India business in 2008. Prashant served in multiple roles in the region including large deals, Watson and Cloud, and CTO for IBM India. In August 2018, Prashant took on the role of CTO for IBM's Asia Pacific region.

Prashant is a recipient of numerous corporate and academic awards and honors. He has served as chairman, panelist and speaker in leading local and international conferences, press and media. Prashant volunteers at Pacific Rim Robotics - his wife's company - to teach robotics and AI to children. He has nanodegrees in Deep Learning, Autonomous Driving and Bioinformatics.

Jeong Han Kim is the chief information officer of Lotte Card, a major credit card company in South Korea.

Since becoming CIO in 2014, Kim has led Lotte Card through the most notable digital transformation in its history based on his expertise of both credit card business and IT infrastructure. Under Kim's leadership, Lotte Card successfully launched user application and digital payment system on the PaaS cloud to improve user experience(UX) in 2018.

Through the significant innovative experience, Kim has been working on the migration of Lotte Card's core banking system to the PaaS cloud; the migration will be accomplished by end of this year.

Michael Araneta is Associate Vice-President for IDC Financial Insights. Mr. Araneta leads the research and consulting work for Asia/Pacific Financial Services, covering the broad range of strategic and tactical issues that Asia/Pacific institutions face as they complete their Digital Transformation programs. Mr. Araneta is the go-to analyst for advice on the technology investments that need to be made for product innovation, Big Data, customer analytics, core banking systems, risk management, and customer channel effectiveness. Nicholas Chen is a Cloud Native Technical Specialist from Microsoft Azure Global Blackbelt Asia team. He has extensive experience on architecting and building cloud native applications with open source technologies, e.g. Kubernetes and OpenShift. Nicholas is actively landing the innovative managed container service, Azure Red Hat OpenShift, in Asia, helping organizations and enterprises be more agile and successful with Red Hat OpenShift and the intelligent cloud, Azure.

As a long time open source supporter, Nicholas is passionate in open source cloud native technologies, he have published several popular books on containers and Serverless. His OpenShift book contributes to the growth of the OpenShift community in Asia.

Adrian Phillips manages the team of product marketers responsible for Red Hat’s SaaS and Smart Management applications. Andrew Sullivan is a Technical Marketing Manager in the Cloud Platforms Business Unit at Red Hat. He focuses on OpenShift, virtualization, and modernizing the management of infrastructure for today’s applications. Andrew has worked in the information technology industry for more than 15 years, with a rich history of database development, infrastructure architecture, DevOps experience, containers, and virtualization.

Andy Yuen is a Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat specialising in middleware & Openshift. Andy hones his technical skills as a developer, people’s skills as a consultant & business skills as a solution architect helping customers realise their business visions. His electrical engineer background allows him to be pragmatic by nature, hold high level talk, as well as getting his hands dirty with implementation work. Anirban Mukherjee is Red Hat Asia Pacific's Business Development Director for Cloud. His focus is to help companies harnessing the potential of technologies to build practices that expedite the execution of their business strategies towards the development of digital capabilities. He acts as a conduit between clients, partners and Red Hat Product Management to influence the roadmap and commercial offerings. Anirban has over 15 years of experience working in the IT industry in various Asia Pacific roles. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and MBA from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Benjamin is a Senior Specialist Architect in Red Hat’s Technology Group specialising in OpenShift, Integration and Application Modernisation. With a strong Java background, he has led projects across banking, telecommunications, mining, utilities and government. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computing from University of Queensland, and an MBA from Warwick University.

Bill Wright is responsible for business and technical strategy for AI/ML and Intelligent Edge at Red Hat. He covers a wide range including telecommunications, oil, gas and automotive, financial services, healthcare, IoT, manufacturing and retail.

Bill started Red Hat’s AI Network initiative, which explores the use of AI and machine learning applications in mobile/edge network topologies and open source platforms. He has represented Red Hat in ETSI ENI industry specifications, a global standards body introducing AI into mobile network infrastructure and management systems.

Bill has a Bachelors in Communications from St. Mary’s College in California. He also has professional qualifications from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in applied cybersecurity.

Chris Wells is the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, leading the team responsible for developing and executing the Go-To-Market strategy for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Chris is a high-tech veteran with over 20 years of experience in product marketing, product management and technology training. Prior to joining Red Hat in 2008, he worked at Quest Software, where he was Director of Product Marketing for several of their Windows Management enterprise products. In this role, he works with customers, partners, & the developer community to drive the adoption of Red Hat cloud & applications development technologies. Frank Feldmann is Vice President of the APAC Office of Technology at Red Hat.

Frank brings more than two decades of experience in the field of open source. Under Frank’s leadership, the APAC Technology office addresses APAC business requirements and strives to better align our technology agenda and message across the business units, sales and customer landscape.

Prior to this role, Frank was Senior Director, Strategic Business Development. Frank also held several successful leadership roles in Red Hat since 2008, ranging from marketing, strategic sales, field enablement to product management.

Prior to Red Hat, Frank worked with VMware as Managing Director of their Software-Defined Data Center for APAC.

Jimmy is an experienced leader across internal organizations and has a track record of successfully being a source of knowledge cross-pollination across Product Management, Sales, Services, Support, and Education teams. With over 20 years of working within the technology industry, Jimmy has earned roles that have consistently increased in responsibility. These roles include Systems Administrator, Pre-sales, Technical Marketing and Evangelist.

Jimmy Is currently a Principal Marketing Manager for Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. He focuses most of his time on gathering feedback for improving the product as well as evangelizing reusable content that can be consumed by external customers.

Josep is the Vice President and General Manager, Asian Growth & Emerging Markets (GEMs) at Red Hat. In this role, Josep is responsible for the management of Red Hat’s operations in Southeast Asia and Korea.

Prior to this post, Josep was the Vice President of Partners & Alliances for Asia Pacific at Red Hat. During that tenure, the team built a first-class partner ecosystem that has helped position Red Hat as a leader in the open source IT infrastructure market across all industries and segments.

With a career spanning over three decades, Josep has held leadership roles in companies like Oracle, IBM and Lotus Development in the sales and marketing management function. Josep has spent the last 25 years in Asia Pacific, traveling extensively across the region meeting customers and partners.

Marc Hildenbrand is a Developer Advocate for Red Hat. A lifelong software engineer, He has over 20 years of experience in software development. During his varied career he has been involved in the development of various exciting projects from large scale video games (such as Lord of the Rings Online) to 7-Eleven’s Fuel App, and the middleware that supports Public Transport Victoria’s mobile app which is used by thousands of commuters per day.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Marc was the global CTO of the award-winning digital consulting firm Tigerspike and was instrumental in making them one of AWS's hottest "APN Advanced Consulting" partners. He has a broad perspective on the development lifecycle and on what works (and does not work) when it comes to software projects.

Always involved with delivering innovative solutions for leading companies across multiple industries. She's a trusted partner who engages both technical and business officers to define needs and align technology initiatives with broader organizational goals.

Mark focuses on leveraging his extensive Linux partnering experience to work with Red Hat's Global OpenStack and OpenShift partners on various go-to-market activities, CNF and VNF certifications on Red Hat technologies, and technical/sales enablement activities.

Mark joined Red Hat in 2016 after spending 17 years with SUSE where he ran global OEM programs.

Massimo Ferrari is Consulting Product Manager at Red Hat with 15+ years experience in security, as an industry analyst and consultant.

Prior to joining Red Hat Massimo served a wide range of organizations worldwide, including Fortune 1000 and Fortune Global 2000 companies, supporting them in the transformation journey towards IT as a Service.

Massimo started his career in 1999 and has been one of the first security professionals leveraging virtualization technologies to drive consolidation projects in large enterprises. He is based in London.

Max McLaren is the Regional Vice President and General Manager of Red Hat Australia and New Zealand.

Max has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over three decades. He has been in his current role for 15 years and helped build Red Hat ANZ to the significant business it is today. Prior to this, Max spent 12 years with IBM and Lotus, most recently as Regional Manager, Small & Medium Business, for IBM Software in ANZ. Previously, he ran Lotus sales and marketing for IBM Software in that region, after a similar role for Lotus in South East Asia and South Asia.

This followed his role as Managing Director of Lotus, South Africa. Before that, he held a number of sales and sales management roles at Lotus in the UK. Max also held sales roles in the UK at AT&T, and Centre-File.

Oren is a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Red Hat with extensive experience in containerization, container orchestration platforms, hosted infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD technologies.

Phil Andrews is Vice President for Enterprise Sales and Global System Integrators at Red Hat Asia Pacific. Phil leads the Enterprise Sales team and the Emerging Products Business Development team in APAC.

He manages the engagement with enterprise customers, vertical markets (telco and FSI), Global System Integrators and the go-to-market relationship with IBM.

Before moving to Asia, Phil led the Northern and Eastern European Sales, Services and Marketing organization with responsibility for Red Hat’s EMEA business covering the UK and Ireland, the Nordic countries, Eastern Europe and Russia CIS.

Prior to Red Hat, Phil was the Director for development and implementation of Cisco’s Data Centre Business for European Markets. Phil also held senior roles in System Management Arts and Aprisma.

Sreejith Anujan is a cloud technology professional with more than 14 years of experience in on-premise datacenter solutions and 10 years with public cloud providers. He enjoys working with customers on their enablement plans to upskill the technical team on container and automation tooling. In his current role as a Principal Instructor within Red Hat, Sreejith is responsible for designing and delivering custom & tailored technology training and workshops to strategic customers across the Asia Pacific region.

Stephen Bylo has over 20 years of experience in IT, working in both development and operations. Since 2010, he has been focusing on Cloud technologies, working in various capacities to implement full-stack automation for CI/CD projects and working with development teams to architect cloud-native applications. Now, at Red Hat, he is helping customers understand the benefits of PaaS and Linux container technologies as part of the customer's DevOps and Cloud journeys.

Sukrit is a TOGAF certified Senior Solution Architect at Red Hat. He specializes in Application Services, Middleware and PaaS technologies. Sukrit has over 12 years of experience in IT industry. He holds MBA and Engineering degrees. Recently, Sukrit has also co-authored an IBM Redbook on Software Defined Data Center.

Sukrit has been involved architecting some of the major digital transformation programmes, closely working with large BFSI, Govt ministries and airlines in India. He is also working actively in optimizing Smart Cities architecture.

As Cloud Native Solution Manager at Red Hat, Syed Rasheed coordinates marketing, evangelism, and consulting activities. In addition to helping customers address application development and integration challenges today, Syed is responsible for working with customers, partners, and industry analysts to ensure the next generation of Red Hat technology meets customer’s requirements for building agile business applications and integration solutions. Syed is 25+ years veteran of IT industry with extensive experience in the Application Development and Integration, Business Intelligence and Data Management technologies areas. His work spanned several industries including financial services, banking and telecommunication.

Tom is a Red Hat Vice President responsible for the Ansible Automation Platform product and business strategy. His focus is on helping customers automate the way they deliver services to the business with Red Hat’s hybrid cloud solutions. During his 8 years at Red Hat Tom has led the Certified Cloud Service Provider program and was a leader of the Cloud Practice in the Consulting Services organization. He has over 25 years of software industry experience taking emerging technology solutions to the enterprise market with a track record of successfully establishing and maintaining lasting customer relationships. Tom joined Red Hat through the acquisition of ManageIQ where he was an original employee and principal responsible for global field operations.

Timo Jokiaho is Telco Technologist, Global Telco Technology & Architecture at Red Hat, focusing on network functions virtualisation (NFV). He works with service providers, network equipment providers, system integrators and independent software vendors to progress the NFV agenda in the industry.

Previously Jokiaho led software technology planning in Huawei Technologies, focusing on the base platform domain (operating systems, virtualization, and telco cloud), and also planning for terminal software platform, including Android and some experimental technologies. Jokiaho also led Samsung’s device software R&D in Finland, and prior to this, he led the Strategy, Technology & Architecture section at Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Tommy is an avid digital business transformation specialist and is a great fan and specialist of the trends such as Mobile Applications, APIs, ChatBots, NBAs / NBOs, Digital Identity and AI / ML. As a solutions person, he has helped advise many customers in helping them modernize their architecture and landscape to embrace cloud native, containerization, API economy and DevOps.

Vaibhav is a Senior Specialist Solution Architect for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Out of his over 17 years of total rich industry experience and expertise in application development and platforms, he has spent more than 9 years during two stints in Red Hat working on Open Source, innovative and many first of its kind solutions.

In his current role, Vaibhav is responsible for working directly with clients for OpenShift & Cloud Native related technologies.

Being hands on and technology passionate, he has helped many large organisations across telco, FSI and federal government sectors adopt and be successful with Containers, DevOps, and Microservices.

Vincent Caldeira is a Chief Financial Services Technologist at Red Hat in APAC. In this role, he is primarily responsible for supporting financial services customers in defining their digital transformation roadmap while using Red Hat® thought leadership and engineering capabilities in the implementation of open standards, open source, and open architecture on their journey. With more than 11 years in the banking sector shaping target architecture and technology roadmaps, Vincent has driven talented engineering teams to build, integrate, and operate critical technology platforms. Vincent has also spent more than 6 years in the financial technology sector building an award-winning track record for delivering cloud-based, innovative software solutions in a startup environment.
