Faz is a Senior Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat focusing on advanced automation.

Ian Lawson is an ex-developer hanging out in Red Hat. Before joining he was involved with terrible software projects and the joy he gets from using OpenShift needs to be shared with the world.

Phil is a Senior Domain Solution Architect at Red Hat, specialising in application services and runtimes. In this role, he helps customers create innovative architectures that address the modern requirements of API based integration and event driven architectures.

He has been working in the IT industry for over 28 years and has practical experience of designing and building major enterprise applications using a range of application/middleware technologies.

Mustafa is an experienced Software Developer within the Enterprise IT software and middleware space. Specialising in developing and designing open source software solutions for the Enterprise. He is currently heavily focused in central government working in areas around but not limited to application migrations, containers, orchestration using Kubernetes as well as things like automation and DevOps.

Matt has spent many years working and specialising in the area of infrastructure architecture, management and automation. Currently working as a senior solutions architect in the heavily regulated financial services sector, previously working as a consultant, infrastructure architect and sysadmin.

Anthony Kesterton is a Principal Solution Architect at Red Hat in the UK, looking after one of Red Hat’s major global banking customers. He has assisted organisations who are making major changes in how they deliver, operate and maintain the software that is core to their business. He has worked with development teams, as well as infrastructure and operations teams, across different industries, looking for parallels in the way banks, telcos, defence and aerospace and government institutions solve problems.

Katrina enjoys working with customers and partners on the people, process and cultural aspects of digital transformation strategies including adopting Open Source, agile and DevOps principles, and Cloud Native technologies.She is an advocate for Women in Business & Technology and Diversity in the workplace.

The Unix Engineering team are predominantly responsible for Global Unix build automation which is deployed throughout the bank. The team are involved in the bank’s Innovation journey, developing new technologies and turning great ideas into benefit for our stakeholders, which is done using an Agile framework and encouraging collaboration across teams. The team's way of working supports the department vision - to drive adoption of secure, repeatable, predictable, self-service technology solutions. Shirley has worked at Natwest for 5 years and is a member of the Women In Technology Network. She has around 30 years of experience working in technology across the Oil & Gas, Government and Finance sectors and also a working parent looking to achieve a good work/life balance to maintain focus on her career progression alongside the stability and welfare of her family.

Ally is a results-driven and resourceful individual with leadership experience, and over 3 years experience in technical and agile environments. Data-obsessed and analytical, Ally embodies a natural curiosity to explore new ways to work and adapt accordingly in order to produce results of a high standard. She continuously works on acquiring new skills, and builds on her current skill set in order to deliver great value to the customer.

Luigi has been involved in developing software for over 23 years, primarily in the banking and financial sector but not limited to these industries alone. He enjoys developing on linux and programming embedded controllers in his spare time.

Patrick Stephens is the Technical Architect for the Digital Platform Team in the Defence Mission Systems division of Thales. He is responsible for technical oversight of the common software platform deployed to all UK, FR and AU maritime solutions. This platform has evolved over the years to a kubernetes based solution. Patrick is also a CNCF CKA.

Kevin Ryall is a Senior Consultant and Agile Coach at Estafet. He helps companies with digital transformation and has specific technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Fuse with Camel and Talend integration. Kevin is an agile practitioner, a Red Hat Agile Coach and has strong DevOps and Continuous Delivery experience. Kevin has recently worked on projects for Thales, Boeing, Airbus, Arqiva, Capita, WorldPay and Elsevier.

Simon Wright is on a mission to help customers survive and thrive by providing guidance on how to adjust their technology, process and culture to compete. He leads a team in the UK who know how to work with the business and IT to provide differentiating functionality where and when needed. He has a good understanding of how best to help customers create their own way forward by adopting some key principles. The agile way of working is deep within the Red Hat DNA as a result of participating, integrating and stabilizing open source software within the global community.

Martin Percival has been employed by the IT world for 36 years and is at pains to tell his children that using social media is not the same as understanding the internet. He has worked in areas as diverse as support and consultancy but quickly discovered a love of explaining IT for varied audiences and so now specialises in bringing those explanations to customers, and the press and analyst communities. Martin’s love of synthesising broader ideas from small details has led him naturally to Red Hat, where he now manages a Solutions Architect team, helping others understand Red Hat’s growing technology offering and the Open Source business model upon which it based.
