Security in Open RAN

Open RAN is an open radio access network (RAN) architecture standardized by the O-RAN Alliance based on 3GPP and other standards. 5G and Open RAN enable new capabilities and control points that allow suppliers, test equipment manufacturers, wireless carriers, and network operators to assess, mitigate and manage security risks efficiently. This paper details how O-RAN enables operators with full visibility and control of their network’s end-to-end security.
