Quarkus reduces boot time and memory consumption for container-native apps
Quarkus allows developers to optimize container-native apps for peak performance. Quarkus offers fast startup times and low memory consumption, which keep overall hosts cost down. An application built on Quarkus is typically available to respond to requests within milliseconds, compared to a traditional cloud-native stack — like Spring Boot — that take up to 10 seconds. A Quarkus application will also use about 10% of the memory compared to an application built on a traditional cloud-native stack. Further, Quarkus works to improve the performance of Java apps, improving developer productivity and access to the extensive Java community when building cloud-native applications.
