Red Hat and HPE have also teamed up to deliver services and support.
Red Hat and HPE's collaboration has produced many success stories. Among them:
Telefónica Global Solutions, one of the largest communications companies in the world, needed to improve efficiency by automating and better controlling infrastructure deployments. To gain that efficiency, Red Hat solutions introduced an internal cloud platform.
APG, one of the world's largest administrators of collective pension funds, decided to completely migrate its infrastructure from AIX to Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The cost of running AIX was three times higher than for running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, according to APG calculations.
ING-DiBa, a large retail bank based in Germany, needed to significantly cut overall costs and administrative effort without sacrificing quality or performance. The company chose to replace its SPARC-Solaris systems with x86 systems running Red Hat Linux Enterprise. Red Hat helped ING-DiBa improve efficiency, performance, and scalability.
