Registration and pricing

The earlier you register, the more you save. Full conference passes start at US$1300, but the price will increase as the event gets closer. Contact your sales representative to see if you qualify for more discounts.

Yes. If you register 4 or more attendees in a group, you'll receive a discount on the passes you’ve purchased. Contact your sales representative for more information on registering a group.

A full conference pass provides access to all keynotes, breakout sessions, and hands-on labs. You'll be able to access the Partner Pavilion during all open hours and attend all evening events and receptions. A full conference pass also includes all conference meals.

A discounted rate is available for attendees who previously attended Red Hat Summit; government, academic, and nonprofit employees; as well as Red Hat certified professionals. Undergraduate and graduate students can also receive a discounted rate with proper credentials. We’ll give you a code, certification number, or validate the discount through email during registration.

A Keynote + Expo pass provides access to all general keynote sessions and the Partner Pavilion, but a full conference pass is required to attend breakout sessions and labs.

No. Power Training must be purchased for $1,200 in addition to a full conference pass. Certification exams can be added for $400—also in addition to a full conference pass. Both can be added during step 3 of the registration process.

Yes. You will need to purchase a guest pass during step 3 of the registration process. The guest pass only grants access to the evening events.

You can pay your registration fees with a credit card. You can also purchase passes using a purchase order through your Red Hat sales contact.

The registration fee only covers the cost of your conference pass. Hotel accommodations can be booked via the conference registration process, but travel arrangements must be made by individual attendees.

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 p.m. PT on March 1, 2017 for a 50% refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after March 1, 2017, 5:00 p.m. PT. For registration transfers or cancellations, please e-mail the Red Hat events team.

DevNation is no longer a separate event from Red Hat Summit. But don't worry, developers—you can still find many developer-specific sessions in the Red Hat Summit agenda.

Hotel and parking information

Red Hat has partnered with 13 hotels surrounding the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). You can book a room at any of these 13 hotels during the registration process. Once you have completed your registration, you will have the option to book your hotel room.

There will be shuttle service between each 13 partner hotels and the BCEC during Red Hat Summit. More information on the shuttle schedule will be available closer to program dates.

Instructions to modify your hotel reservation have been provided to you in your hotel reservation confirmation e-mail. If you experience any difficulty modifying your reservation, please contact the Red Hat events team for assistance. Please do not contact the hotel directly for changes until after April 11, 2017.

We suggest that you first book your room during the available dates and then contact the Red Hat events team with you hotel reservation extension request.
