Integrating continuous integration into OpenShift Enterprise

Using container images built from application source code improves efficiency, patchability, and speed. OpenShift Enterprise 3 by Red Hat® provides the S2I process to create, deploy, and run new applications pulled from a Git repository. This facility takes application source code as an input and produces a new image that runs the assembled application as output.

In a continuous integration (CI) workflow, S2I may be used to create a container image after every commit with the latest source code and the updated image. Ideally, a CI tool (such as Jenkins) would be able to identify any commits made to a Git repository, run the build, and package the application. Another build job may be used to deploy the package—creating an image build by the S2I process—to OpenShift.

In this webinar,  you'll learn how to implement and take advantage of CI in a project with OpenShift Enterprise.
