Red Hat’s JBoss Middleware Solutions are known among CIOs globally for the mission-critical performance, scalability, flexibility and control they offer enterprises. The JBoss Community projects play a critical role in driving the community powered innovation that results in our enterprise-ready solutions, which is why we’re always excited to see our Community projects receive industry recognition. This time, JBoss Profiler received an award in the Testing category at the Great Indian Developer Summit hosted in Bangalore, India, from April 17-20.

The Great Indian Developer Summit is the biggest independent summit for software developers in India, and features focused sessions, keynotes by leading industry speakers and a high profile award ceremony. This year, an estimated 14,000 participants attended the four day event.

Red Hat was thrilled to be recognized by the Indian developer community at the Great Indian Developer Summit for JBoss Profiler. JBoss Profiler is an open source tool designed to systematically detect and pinpoint memory leaks in Java EE applications without the need for complex installations or port configuration changes. It helps users monitor detailed memory usage in applications, and integrate memory leak test conditions into unit tests.

Analysis of application bottlenecks and issues with JBoss Profiler simply requires a web-browser. Red Hat values the Indian developer community, the opportunity to engage through developer focused events such as the Great Indian Developer Summit, and community recognition for JBoss.
