Enthusiast, researcher, and author

Gene Kim has been studying high-performing technology organizations since 1999. He was the founder and CTO of Tripwire, Inc. for 13 years. He’s also the co-author of the newly released The DevOps Handbook, as well as The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win.

Brian Gracely


Director of Product Strategy, Red Hat

Brian Gracely (@bgracely) is director of product strategy at Red Hat, focused on OpenShift. He brings 20 years of experience (Red Hat, Wikibon, EMC, Virtustream, NetApp, Cisco) in strategy, product management, systems engineering, marketing and M&A. He is recognized as an industry thought leader in cloud computing, as well as being co-host of the award-winning podcast, The Cloudcast (@thecloudcastnet). He has a BS/MBA from Wake Forest University.

Chris Rima


Manager, IT Infrastructure, UNS Energy Corporation / Tucson Electric Power

Chris Rima joined TEP in December 2004 as a Senior Systems Administrator, providing engineering support for UNS data center servers and storage systems, along with the company’s e-mail, mobile, remote access and IT security infrastructures. Chris was promoted to Supervisor, Infrastructure Systems, in 2006, and then to Manager, IT Infrastructure, in 2014, after year-over-year double-digit growth in TEP’s IT infrastructure throughout Arizona.

Mark Morawski


Senior vice president – software engineering, Ticketmaster

Mark Morawski recently join Ticketmaster as senior vice president – B2B engineering focused on leading a global ticketing platform team in the midst of a digital transformation. He brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, where he has led global teams across multiple domains including enterprise architecture, engineering, and platform operations. Mark is known as a champion for engineering culture that positively impacts business results and team fulfillment.
