Congratulations to Roger Egan, Red Hat’s vice president of North American Channel Sales and Development, for being recognized by CRN, a leading publication for channel and IT solution providers, on their first list of “Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executives.” The list highlights the IT industry’s most influential vendor executives who serve midmarket and midsize customers. Egan has more than 10 years’ experience in the midmarket, and was celebrated for helping to shape the way Red Hat delivers open source products and solutions that help midmarket IT customers drive down costs while meeting business needs.

In its article highlighting the honorees, CRN described the midmarket as “one of the most important customer segments in the industry today.” Executives were nominated by peers, colleagues, customers and partners and selected based on their relationships in the midmarket segment, their leadership, their strategic thinking and the solution excellence they demonstrate. The list was unveiled during the Midsize Enterprise Summit West, that was held in Phoenix last week.

Red Hat salutes Roger Egan for his continued commitment to the channel and being named a “Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executive.”
