In addition to the first round of exciting keynotes, where we announced that BMW Group, Delta Air Lines, and Lockheed Martin would be speaking, we announced that 4 more customers including DBS Bank, ExxonMobil, UPS, and Volkswagen AG, and Ginni Rometty, chairman, president and chief executive officer from IBM, will join Red Hat executives on stage at Red Hat Summit.

The Red Hat Academy program is now available at more than 1,140 academic institutions around the world, offering top-quality education programs on Red Hat technologies and helping students learn practical, open source IT skills. A recent Red Hat Academy instructor survey found that 91 percent of academy instructors agree that the program improves their students' career readiness within the IT industry.

ComputerWorld UK - How CYBG is increasingly running 'as-a-service' with Red Hat
British banking group CYBG, which encompasses Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, B, and Virgin Money, has turned to Red Hat to unify its digital banking systems under a single platform, which the organisation hopes will help it better roll out changes across brands. The platform itself is called iB, and it essentially acts as a testbed for new digital features and capabilities that can then be packaged up and deployed across the bank in a simple way.

We've announced the availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift on NVIDIA DGX-2 systems, which are designed to deliver powerful solutions for complex AI challenges. This will help to bring accelerated data science, ML and deep learning (DL) workflows to the Linux-based heart of enterprise datacenters and enable customers to more effectively design and execute demanding AI applications in their existing environments.
