"With Red Hat solutions on Cisco UCS hardware, we've created an elastic, scalable infrastructure that gives us the rapid innovation and agility of cloud, plus the ability to deliver Software-as-a-Service. We can create new offerings while controlling our data, workloads, compliance, and security."

Stop by the Red Hat booth to explore the following demos:
Optimize your IT
Data storage has come a long way since the days of disk systems. Sure, those disk systems might still be used here and there—but now they're attached to a network and software-defined so you have total control over exactly how it's formatted.
Gain agility with hybrid cloud
Hybrid cloud is a combination of 1 or more public and private cloud environments. It’s a pool of virtual resources—developed partially from hardware owned and managed by a third-party company as well as hardware owned by the enterprise using the cloud—orchestrated by management and automation software that allows users to access the resources on-demand through self-service portals supported by automatic scaling and dynamic resource allocation.
Automate your network
In a complex IT environment, even the smallest tasks can take forever. Sprawling systems are hard to develop, deploy, and maintain. Business demands only increase complexity, and IT teams struggle with management, availability, and cost. Ansible is simple, agentless IT automation technology that can improve your current processes, migrate applications for better optimization, and provide a single language for DevOps practices across your organization.
Accelerate with DevOps and containers
Red Hat® OpenShift is a container application platform that brings Docker and Kubernetes to the enterprise. Regardless of your applications architecture, OpenShift lets you easily and quickly build, develop, and deploy in nearly any infrastructure, public or private. Whether it’s on-premise, in a public cloud, or hosted, you have an award-winning platform to get your next big idea to market ahead of your competition.

Solutions Theatre Session:
Automating all the Cisco things with Ansible
Date & time: Monday, June 11 | 2:00 p.m.
Location: Campus Solutions Theater
Speaker: Sean Cavanaugh, technical marketing manager, Ansible Network Automation
Description:
Today's enterprises are under extreme pressure to manage the ever increasing demand of applications, workloads, and larger more complex networks. Automating these processes—planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance of various infrastructure elements — is a transformational approach to simplifying IT operations. Yet adoption of automation solutions has been much slower among network teams than expected. Ansible’s simple automation framework means that previously isolated network administrators can finally speak the same language as the rest of the IT organization, extending the capabilities of Ansible to include native support for both legacy and next-gen Cisco network infrastructure devices.

Breakout Session:
Building Hybrid Clouds in Amazon Web Services with CSR 1000v
Date & time: Tuesday, June 12 | 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: W311E
Speakers:
Steven Carter, principal solutions architect, Red Hat
Chris Hocker, CSA, Cisco
Description:
This session will cover use of the Cloud Services Router (CSR 1000v) to build secure, hybrid cloud networks. It is meant to address enterprise requirements to extend their on-premise networks into public clouds in a way that maintains operational consistency. We will review the basics of installation and configuration of a CSR 1000v in a AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Specific use cases covered will include IPSec VPN overlay designs, Direct Connect integration, Transit VPC, high availability, and automation. We will also briefly review using the CSR 1000v with Azure Virtual Networks. Lastly, we will cover other IOS-XE features relevant to public cloud deployments, including zone-based firewall for security, IP SLA for monitoring, NBAR and Netflow for application visibility, NAT, and SSL VPN for remote access.

Breakout session:
Continuous integration and testing for networks with Ansible
Date & time: Thursday, June 14 | 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.
Location: DevNet Zone
Speakers:
Steven Carter, principal solutions architect, Red Hat
Chris Hocker, CSA, Cisco
Description:
Introducing continuous integration and testing of your network enables organizations to respond more rapidly to changing business conditions and security threats in a way that make your operations more efficient and robust. Ansible’s agentless footprint enables it to automate the entire infrastructure from the network to the application. This capability allows you to codify your entire infrastructure, including policy and security, into a Devops-like workflow. In this session, we will cover Ansible’s ability to automate and abstract both on-prem physical and virtual networking infrastructure as well as cloud-based networking infrastructure. We will also outline and demonstrate a CI workflow that includes a git-based repository for version control and management, an automation engine for testing and verification, and Ansible Tower to push out playbooks into the infrastructure.
