Keynote Speakers


Rajesh Rege
Managing Director - Red Hat India

Rajesh Rege, Managing Director, Red Hat, heads the India Operations of the world's leading provider of open source solutions. A business leader with about three decades of rich industry experience, he is chartered with engaging stakeholders across communities spanning customers, partners, regulatory & policy making bodies as well as eco-system partners in adopting open innovation to its fullest potential. 

Rajesh’s mandate also includes working closely with all RedHat business units in advancing the company wide open source portfolio to meet customer needs in India and guiding the partner eco-system of Red Hat in providing scalable enterprise solutions. 

Earlier in his career Rajesh has worked with highly regarded companies like Cisco as Director and country head, Data Center & Cloud Business for India & SAARC. With Sun Microsystems in various leadership roles, he was responsible for Sun's engagement in the Enterprise, Mid-market & SMB segment. 

Rajesh is an alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka. Based in Bangalore, he is an avid traveller, Motorcycle enthusiast, passionate environmentalist, avid reader and a collector of books on biographies and management.


Sarangan Rangachari
VP Strategic BU, Red Hat Inc.

Sarangan Rangachari leads the Storage Business Unit at Red Hat and is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of Red Hat's storage portfolio. Prior to this role, Rangachari drove Red Hat's cloud ecosystem strategy. He joined Red Hat in 2010 with more than 25 years of industry experience, including in-depth software product management and product marketing experience and 18 years in storage software.

Prior to Red Hat, Rangachari was the CEO for multiple start-up companies in the systems and storage management space. He founded Invio Software (aquired by Veritas/Symantec), was VP/GM of AP/J Region, and led the product management and marketing for Legato Systems (aquired by EMC). Early in his career, Rangaichari worked in various product management roles at Sun Microsystems. He holds a master's degree in Industrial and Operations Management and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. 


Ashutosh Sharma

Ashutosh serves the CIO role and leads the India team that guides Business Technology (BT) and Marketing & Strategy Professionals. Ashutosh specializes in the area of BT and provides strategic guidance and advice to clients in the areas of digital business, cloud, 

mobility, big data, emerging technologies, sourcing, and contract management.

Previous Work Experience

Ashutosh has worked in various roles at leading consulting and IT services firms. Most recently he was with Infosys advising aerospace and automotive clients in the US. Prior to that, he spent close to nine years at Cognizant consulting for major retail and consumer goods organizations in North America and Asia Pacific.


Ashutosh completed his postgraduate diploma in business management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Technology in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.

Chris Mawer
Storage Business Unit Manager, APAC
Red Hat

Chris is the Storage Business Unit Manager for Red Hat in Asia Pacific. Responsible for Red Hat’s platform including software-defined storage (Ceph, Gluster) with support for traditional, cloud, container and hyper-converged workloads. He frequently presents at Red Hat's Executive Briefings consulting with customers on how to adopt agile business methodologies. Prior to Red Hat, Chris has worked in specialized roles of Consulting, Infrastructure, Storage and Security.


Ben Henshall
Director, AppDev Solutions Red Hat Asia Pacific

Benjamin Henshall is the director of solutions for Red Hat's developer tooling and developer platforms for the Asia Pacific region. His primary responsibilty is to help clients, partners and the eco-system within Asia adopt the Red Hat toolsets and services in strategic opportunites.

Benjamin comes with over 7 years experience within Red Hat and prior working at Oracle within the Fusion Middleware business unit and BEA Systems preceding his time at Oracle.

His particular interests is to help organisations 'out innovate' the competition through 'compressed innovation cycles' using software engineering principles and cultural change known as DevOps and technologies like Platform as a Service, mobile application platforms and lightwieght integration middleware.

Ben also has a passion for helping organisations understand how to harness the innovation from Open Source software and participate in their respective communities.


Kingsley wood
Director, Infrastructure Business Group, Asia Pacific

Kingsley leads the execution of the Infrastructure Business Group's strategic and go to market plans across Asia Pacific, including the platforms, management, hybrid cloud and storage technologies. He joined Red Hat in March 2015 as Director of Cloud Solutions for the Emerging Products Business Development team.




Anuva Ambastha
Senior Solution Architect , Red Hat, India

Anuva Ambastha joined Red Hat in 2013 as a Senior Solutions Architect where she is focused on Red Hat key SI partners and helps them build meaningful solutions for their customers.

In her career, Anuva has worked extensively with Middleware technologies and at RedHat she strives to make open source technology both practical and workable for enterprise users by balancing her technical expertise, understanding of business processes and I.T. problems faced at the enterprise level along with her passion for open source.


Sukanta Biswas
Consulting Solution Architect for Infrastructure & Cloud Practice, Red Hat India

Sukanta Biswas is Consulting Solution Architect for Infrastructure & Cloud Practice in Red Hat India. As part of his present role, he takes care of Infrastructure & Cloud pre-sales and solution consulting. As a technical architect, he specializes in Cloud, Virtualization and Linux/Unix/Storage infrastructure technologies. On a day-to-to basis, he consults with end users, systems integrators on how best to effectively design and enable enterprise environments using various aspects of open source technology.

Sukanta has a vast 16+ year experience in the I.T. industry. Both end users and partners alike consider him a Trusted Adviser for implementing open source technologies for their mission critical enterprise environments. His experience entails enabling customers to embrace open source solutions from legacy migrations to infrastructure modernization, virtualization, cloud and service automation.
