The Roadmap for Containers & DevOps

Linux Containers continue to grow in popularity and are at the center of a number of emerging trends in IT. Organizations are using Containers to accelerate DevOps processes, to deploy both existing apps and cloud-native microservices, and to enable a hybrid cloud infrastructure. This session will explore Red Hat’s roadmap for Containers, how it enables these trends and how we are delivering new Container innovations through OpenShift, RHEL and across our product portfolio.

Innovation has always been at the core of we do; our open source communities stand for no less. Red Hat Open Innovation Labs is a new medium to deliver tangible, community-powered innovation. In an eight-week teaming engagement focused on accelerating application development, you can modernize traditional apps or develop contemporary ones, and leave with a solid understanding of the principles of modern software development. During this session, we will provide an overview of life in a Labs residency, show examples of what can be rapidly built at Labs, and demonstrate the push button infrastructure that allows developers to do DevOps and build innovative solutions from day one.
