Next generation e-ticketing system serves millions of Indian commuters


To implement a stable and scalable ticketing platform in order to improve existing ticketing system on Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) portal, Centre for Railway information Systems (CRIS) partnered with Red Hat and HCL Technologies for a scalable solution on Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®, managed by Red Hat Satellite with high-availability add-ons. Professional services and training from Red Hat were also provided to equip the CRIS team with open source expertise.
