Red Hat's David Perry Recognized with Triangle Business Journal Corporate Counsel of the Year Award

Red Hat is pleased to announce that David Perry, senior patent counsel, has been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the 2014 winners of the publication's Corporate Counsel of the Year Awards. The awards recognize outstanding in-house counsel who are leaders in the Raleigh, N.C. business community.

David is responsible for managing Red Hat's patent litigation defense efforts. In that role he evaluates and addresses threatened patent assertions, protecting Red Hat's intellectual property. He regularly assists the intellectual property practice group with a range of patent-related issues, including inquiries and reviews. David also advises Red Hat's leadership team regarding potential exposure from patent assertions.

Winners will be honored at an award luncheon on August 21, and profiled in the Triangle Business Journal's August 22 edition.
