Enterprise Open Source Driving IT Transformation

Red Hat South Africa would like to invite you to attend our Red Hat Tech Lab on the 20th of November at The Forum l The Campus in Bryanston. This full day event will give you the latest information on the Red Hat technical and business view for this year. All the information shared during the day will be focused on Enterprise Open Source driving the IT transformation.

Open Source is the core of every organization, big or small and now is the time to transform with Enterprise Open Source.

This year’s conference agenda will fit everyone’s needs. We will have technical sessions early in the morning for a technical audience, followed by several keynote presentations from Red Hat executives, external speakers and our platinum sponsors. In the afternoon we will provide three different breakout tracks to suit our business audience. You can choose sessions around 3 different topics:

Journey to the Cloud

Many people —including your internal customers— use public cloud in their daily lives. They often expect the same agility and efficiency from corporate IT systems. But it’s a struggle to balance running the business and driving IT innovation and transformation. This track will provide you a clear journey to the cloud, including a customer case that will outline their Cloud journey with Red Hat Enterprise Open Source.

Innovate and Save Costs with Red Hat JBoss

The Growth of Cloud Applications (SaaS), Mobile and Social Media are reigniting the focus on Enterprise Integration. Red Hat JBoss middleware solutions provides a modern approach to enable the IT Transformation:
Acceleration of apps development, deployment, performance and management. Integration of applications and data, particularly data virtualization enables organizations to acquire actionable, unified information when and how they need it; i.e. at the business speed and Automation of decisions and processes. This track will provide insight to the Red Hat Enterprise integration, including migration scenarios and customers sharing their experience with Red Hat Enterprise open source.

Andreas Stolzenberger

EMEA Partner Enablement Manager Cloud, Red Hat

Andreas Stolzenberger is the EMEA Partner Enablement Manager for Cloud. Before that he worked as Solution Architect within the Solution Architects team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Andreas joined Red Hat on 12/3/2012 coming from Vmware where he worked as senior solution engineer. Prior to Vmware, Andreas worked as a storage consultant for Dell. Before Andreas started in a presales role, he worked 17 years a editor for several technical IT magazines in germany, like network computing, byte germany, computerwoche or OS/2 Inside. at network computing andreas ran the enterprise test lab for 10 years.

Charles Moulliard

Sr. Principal Solution Architect, Red Hat

Charles Moulliard is currently a Sr. Principal Solution Architect @RedHat & Apache Committer with more than 20 years of expertise in solutions design based on JEE / Middleware technologies. As Engineer & Architect, he has been involved in system integration of projects in Financial and Banking world. The skills (Methodology, UML, RUP, Project Management, Network, Security, Web Development, Programming languages, RDBMS, Architecture - JEE/SOA, Middleware) that he acquires during its career path have help him to address business, functional, security and infrastructure requirements and transpose them into operable and efficient solutions. 

Wanja Pernath

EMEA Partner Enablement Manager, Middleware and Mobile, Red Hat

Wanja has started his professional career in 1998 as a freelancer for a bavarian car rental service. His tasks have been to create a full-fledged client / server environment for this car rental company in C++ based on Power++ and Sybase Anywhere Database by Sybase. After 2 years he joined a small solution integrator as a Java/JEE consultant. Over the next 7 years he ran around Germany from one project to the other to work mostly on JEE web apps hosted on most application servers: IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, JBossAS, Tomcat, Resin, Jetty… to name them.
