|8:30 – 9:00||Registration & breakfast|
|9:00 – 10:30||Getting Started With Ansible
Ansible is a simple, yet powerful IT automation engine for app deployment, configuration management and orchestration that you can learn quickly. In this lab, you'll get to know Ansible from the ground up: After a brief introduction you'll run the first Ansible commands. From there we'll tackle some of the basic concepts and you'll start to write your first Playbooks. Along the way you will pick up some of the more advanced concepts like controlling task execution or templating.
|10:30 – 10:50||Break|
|10:50 – 12:20||Hands-On With Ansible Tower
You already use and love Ansible? Ready to extend the power of Ansible to your entire team? Ansible Tower by Red Hat helps you to centralize and control your IT infrastructure with a visual dashboard, role-based access control, job scheduling and graphical inventory management. This lab is about getting hands-on with Ansible Tower: On your own Tower installation you'll work in the web UI and learn how Tower ticks. You'll start with configuring inventories and credentials and you'll learn how to integrate your Playbooks. After configuring Job Templates you'll run your first Ansible Jobs from Tower. Finally the lab will show you how to give users without Ansible knowledge limited control of Playbook execution.
|12:20 – 13:30||Lunch|
For this Hands-On-Lab, you need to bring your own laptop. Once registered, you will receive an Email with detailed information and requirements to take part in this practical experience.
