Mike is the Chief Technology Strategist for Red Hat in Canada, responsible for evangelizing the digital transformation of business, healthcare and government through investments in open source based software that underpins contemporary major technology innovation trends. Michael brings extensive experience in building enterprise class cloud services, organizational development, technology vision, and business leadership. As the former Global CTO for OnX Enterprise Solutions, Mr. Cardy not only worked with many Fortune 500 companies to formulate IT-enabled business strategies, but also collaborated with his client's to ensure the delivery of the expected business outcomes.
Territory Services Manager, Red Hat Canada
Cory is a technology executive with two decades of experience in Architecture, Development and IT Operations and Professional Services. In his role at Red Hat he is helping Canadian commercial and public-sector organizations with the move to agile and devops practices. Previous to joining Red Hat, Cory held executive roles within TD Bank and BlackBerry. While AVP Platform Engineering at TD Bank, Cory led a team of over 200 employees. Throughout his 8 year tenure at Blackberry, Cory held operational responsibility for Blackberry’s 60MM subscriber services.
Born and raised in Newfoundland, Cory has held roles throughout Canada, UK and the US. He now resides in Cambridge, ON. Cory is married with two sons and enjoys training in BJJ and Thai Boxing with his two boys.
Senior Solutions Architect, Red Hat Canada
Paul Turnbull is a Senior Solution Architect with Red Hat focusing primarily on Public Sector and the Commercial space in Western Canada. Prior to Red Hat Paul worked as a Principal Systems Engineer with Symantec Software and prior to that Veritas Software.. collectively Paul has over 20 years of experience in DataCenter buildouts and has extensive knowledge in the Infrastructure/data management space. Paul is married with 2 children and in his spare time helps coach baseball and soccer and is also an avid long-distance runner.
Senior Middleware Solutions Architect, Red Hat Canada
Gerald Nunn is a Solution Architect with Red Hat specializing in application development including the JBoss middleware portfolio as well as OpenShift. Prior to joining Red Hat last year, he spent thirteen years as a consultant helping customers architect and implement integration solutions. In his spare time, when not saving the universe in whatever video game he happens to be playing at the moment, he enjoys writing code and working on various open source projects.

I’ve have enjoyed the exuberance of the technology industry, both hardware and software for over 35 years with the likes of IT organizations such as Oracle, BEA Systems, EMC, Pyramid Technology, Uniface/CompuWare, Computer Associates, Cullinet and Information Builders.
My current position at Red Hat has allowed me to utilize my experience over many years in technology, the last 18 in middleware, to help customers reach their goals in modernizing their computing platforms and provide leadership and direction for success in cloud strategies and deployments.
