In recent years, IT leaders have shifted their perceptions of enterprise open source solutions. What originally started in the playground of developers, hackers, and visionaries decades ago, open source technology is now a mainstream part of commercial software development and the engine for consistent innovation—from the server room to public clouds to edge networks and beyond.
In The State of Enterprise Open Source report 2022, Red Hat surveyed approximately 1,300 IT leaders worldwide to better understand the unique role of enterprise open source solutions in their organizations. The results found that the move from proprietary software toward open source solutions is accelerating rapidly.
Enterprise open source solutions have positive software attributes with access to innovation while also delivering the flexibility of open source licensing and the agility of the open source development model.
Join us to discuss the findings of The State of Enterprise Open Source report 2022 and learn how your organization can benefit from open source technologies and the communities and strategies that the open source development model supports.
