This course is a follow-up to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Implementation and focuses on Day 2 operation topics. Students will learn in depth about certificates and PKI, how certificates are used in Red Hat OpenShift, practice using Red Hat Ansible to deploy and validate certificates, and confirm certificate updates in Red Hat OpenShift. This course will also explain which parts of Red Hat OpenShift need monitoring, various Red Hat OpenShift metrics, and show examples for monitoring solutions set up monitoring with both Prometheus and Zabbix. Students will also learn how to upgrade a running Red Hat OpenShift Cluster both within a major release and from one major release to the next. Different upgrade strategies are discussed. Students will then upgrade their OpenShift cluster from one minor Red Hat OpenShift release to another.
