The Red Hat logo is changing for the first time in 19 years. And our challenge, while easy to describe, is thorny. How to preserve the recognizability and reputation (and meaning) of our last mark, while creating something fresh, new and easier to work with.

When we decided to undertake an evolution of the Red Hat logo—the first in nearly 20 years—we set two guiding principles for ourselves. First, we'd do the work the Red Hat way, in the open. And second, we'd take this opportunity not just to improve our logo, but to make a bold statement about the ways Red Hat has evolved over its 26-year history.

Red Hat Virtualization 4.3, the latest version of Red Hat's Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM)-powered virtualization platform, will be generally available in May 2019. Red Hat Virtualization 4.3 provides high performing, highly-available, and more easily scalable virtual machine workloads.
