We are pleased to announce that Red Hat CloudForms was a finalist in the “Private Cloud Computing Technologies” category at the Best of VMworld 2014 awards.
Red Hat CloudForms, our open hybrid cloud management solution, supports a wide variety of private, public and hybrid clouds. Its robust capabilities impressed the judges, showing how well the offering has adapted to cloud platform evolution.
The Best of VMworld Awards cover nine categories of the virtualization market, including: business continuity & data protection; security & compliance for virtualization; virtualization management; hardware for virtualization; desktop virtualization; private cloud computing technologies; public/hybrid cloud computing technologies; new technology; and best of show.
At VMworld 2014 in San Francsico, we announced a new release of CloudForms which has added significant support for the management of quickly-evolving OpenStack environments, as well as other cloud platforms including: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and VMware vSphere.
