Puppet uses its own domain-specific language (DSL) to describe machine configurations. Code in this language is saved in files called manifests. Puppet is used by all of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux^® OpenStack^® Platform installers to configure services for OpenStack.

This webinar will explore a few of the manifests from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform installers. By attending, you will:

• Learn some fundamental concepts and terms about Puppet.
• Be introduced to the Puppet domain-specific language (DSL), the language used to describe a system state.
• See how Puppet resources are declared in a Puppet manifest and applied to a system using the Puppet command line utility.
